Satellites

There is a lot to see in the sky at night in northern Oregon. While I was checking out a meteor shower I got this shot of a satellite tracking over the Big Dipper. It's the horizontal line just above the dipper. Captured with a 3 second exposure.

  2. Very cool shot... Looks like a rocket going into the ground next to you.

    I would ask how you knew it was coming with enough time to set the camera, but I've already bored the web with this comment as it is.
